Kut is a Tokyo-based music producer and sound designer who bridges raw street energy with high-end sonic precision.

His career began in the late 1980s spinning parties in Tokyo, where his obsession with music took root. By the early 90s, he had picked up his first sampler and started building beats from the ground up. Between 1995 and 1998, time spent across various U.S. cities sharpened his ear and deepened his connection to Hip Hop at its source. Back in Japan, Kut went on to earn production credits for artists including Cam’ron, Talib Kweli, Fiend, Buckshot, and Fred Da Godson — working internationally while based in Tokyo.

His sound is solid, kinetic, and alive — the kind of music that hits differently in the room. That same character translates equally well to sync, carrying the weight and chemistry needed to elevate film, commercial, and branded content. Kut has delivered production for world-class brands across multiple categories.

In recent years, Kut has invested deeply in his studio infrastructure and production craft — building toward a new body of work.

He continues to produce for artists and pursue sync opportunities in parallel — music built to move people, regardless of the context.

It’s Kut , The music producer from Tokyo Japan.
